Service Description

The Portrait in Oils Description: This class covers practical strategies for painting a portrait in oils. Topics will include: Color theory and mixing Value relationships Proportions and basic anatomy Capturing a likeness Students will complete two 2-day portraits (six hours per portrait) in class. The instructor will provide demonstrations and one-on-one critiques while the students employ the lessons in hands-on practice. All levels of experience are welcome.
